Tropical cyclone Yasi has reached the shores of North Queensland. I have family in Townsville. My sister and her family. My thoughts and pray go out them and to everyone in the regions affected by this cyclone. I pray they are all safe and come through this natural calamity in one piece.
Port Moresby, the city I reside in is just about an hour by air from Cairns. They say that this is the strongest cyclone ever experience in that part of the region.
