PGK30,000 Reward For Missing Scientists In West New Britain Province PNG

Dear friends and colleagues,

How’s it going?

I know! I know!

I’ve been gone too long.

Far too long you can say.

Anyway a big happy 2012 to you!

Last week the MV Rabaul Queen sunk in rough seas

Another year goes by and loved ones die without saying good bye.

Our hearts are afloat with them at sea at this time.

Wow!

What a weekend it was last week.

Port Moresby was hit with torrential rains.

The power pylon outside my place on Scratchley road was felled by strong winds on Thursday afternoon last week so we had no power over the weekend.

I took off to 4 Mile.

I’ve been there since last Saturday.

In the whole nation, in the whole wide world in fact, natural disasters are wrecking havoc on the daily lifestyle of humanity.

While the world is crumbling around us here is an important public announcement I received just awhile ago in my inbox.

The PNG Institute of Medical Research is offering a reward of K30,000 for reliable information on the whereabouts of its five staff who disappeared last year from West New Britain Province.

Please share this announcement as widely as possible with your friends, colleagues and staff and across the country.

Feel free to print and disseminate the post to whoever you think may be helpful.

Please share.

Any information should be relayed to Kimbe Police (983 5075) or PNG IMR (525 0943 / 532 2800).

Information will be treated confidentially.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Before I leave here is an interesting log about the torrential rains last week in Port Moresby by a fellow PNG blogger, Ricardo.

Stay safe now.

Cheers
